Our veterinary review

Every health-related CalcuPaw calculator is checked by a licensed veterinarian before it is indexed and again at least every six months. The reviewer verifies each formula against its source, tries realistic and edge-case inputs, and reads the page copy for anything unsafe.

Review status: all current calculators were reviewed on 18 October 2026, and each page shows its last review date. The reviewer is a licensed veterinarian whose name is not published. Any new calculator is marked "veterinary review pending" and kept out of search engines until it has been signed off.
